Tulsi Rai

Tulsi learned that she was HIV positive in 2007. Her first husband, Ravi was a drug dealer and an injecting drug user user who became infected in 2005. Ravi and Tulsi have a son, who is not positive. He is going school and he stays with Ravi’s family.

Tulsi is now married to Shanker and they both work together at the Shanker Foundation. During her early days of HIV she experienced a lot of discrimination. She says,”the days were very hard and she does not want to relive those memories”.
